Alteration Services
Our Alterations Studio offers a range of services from taking up a hem or resizing a pair of trousers, to restyling your favorite vintage dresses.
How it works:
1. Book an appointment and choose your fitting option
Call us and book an appointment before visiting to make sure we have your preferred slot available. Choose where you want to have your fitting – in store or a home visit.
2. During your appointment
During your appointment our professional dress fitters will discuss your requirements and make sure your apparels are a perfect fit by pinning your garment and taking precise body measurements.
3. Collecting your item
Our standard turnaround time for alterations is five to seven working days – deadlines can vary depending on work load.
*Evening gowns, bridesmaids dresses and wedding dresses require a minimum of 4 weeks for alterations. If you have less than 4 weeks to your event please enquire with our team for availability.
You can collect your garment in store, trying it on one more time making sure it fits perfectly or if you have chosen a home fitting service, your garments will be delivered directly to your door.
Home Fittings
Special Service – from the comfort of your home !
We offer Fitting + Collection and Delivery directly to your home. *
One of our experienced fitters will visit you in your home and fit your garments then and there. Following that they will be altered in our studio and brought back directly to your door.
We recommend that the fitting is done in a comfortable room, preferably with a full length mirror. Make the most of your fitting by preparing several garments. You can then get our fitter’s fashion advice on whether the garments are worth transforming.
*Home fittings are conducted within a 10 mile radius of our shop.
FITTING FEES
Studio Fittings:
Fittings in our studio are free of charge.
Home Fitting:
A home fitting is £45 for up to 1 hour. Any additional time is charged at £30/h. For early mornings, evenings, Sundays and bank holidays, our fitting fee is £68/hour.

- Bridesmaids alterations – from £65
VAT included. Prices vary with regards to fabric, finishing and number of layers.
Please note that if garments are to be delivered, the full amount will be required on the day of the fitting.
